 As the Telangana assembly elections are approaching, a tragedy has struck the BJP. Telangana BJP leader and former Bhadrachalam MLA Kunja Satyavathi passed away suddenly. Satyavathi suddenly felt a pain in her chest. Her family immediately rushed her to the hospital. However, Kunja Satyavati died on the way.  

She breathed her last, last night due to heart attack.  The sources say that at around one o’clock in the night, she felt severe pain in her chest at her residence in Bhadrachalam. She passed away on the way while the family members rushed her to the hospital. Many leaders expressed shock over her death. Condolences to her family members. 

Kunja Satyavati started her political career through CPM party. In 1991, he was elected as MP by that party. After that she joined the Congress party on the initiative of YSR. He won as Bhadrachalam MLA in 2009.

Satyavathi won from Bhadrachalam on Congress ticket in 2009 election. In the wake of the developments after YSR’s death, she switched to other parties and finally settled in the BJP. There was a possibility that she would get a ticket from BJP in the upcoming assembly elections in Telangana.
