Bahujan Samaj Party – BSP state president RS Praveen Kumar has announced that he will contest from Sirpur in the next assembly elections. The elections to be held in Sirpur have been described as a class war between the wealthy and the poor of Andhra.

RS Praveen Kumar spoke at a media conference organized in Kagaj Nagar on Saturday. It is alleged that the local MLA migrated from Andhra region to loot Sirpur region. Even though geographically separate Telangana has separated from Andhra, the evil rule of Andhra bigots will continue in Sirpur. He criticized that Andhra region is getting all the contracts that are due to the locals in the agency areas.

RS Praveen Kumar said that the management of Kagaj Nagar paper mill is paying low wages to local employees and paying high wages to non-local employees. MLA’s younger brother Koneru Krishna attacked the forest officials and accused them of encroaching on tribal forest lands and making ventures. He criticized that crores of rupees are being earned illegally. MLAs are taking the lands of the poor by force and if they resist, they are filing illegal cases. He said that only 1.5 lakhs of 5 lakh tribals across the state have applied for land titles.

According to the orders of the Supreme Court, the government has been demanded to give all the BC, SC, ST and minority people living in the agency area.
