The Congress government in Telangana has given good news to women. The Congress, which said that it will implement six guarantees when it comes to power, has said that the important Mahalakshmi scheme will be implemented from December 9.
After the swearing-in of Revanth Reddy and ministers as CM on Thursday, the first cabinet meeting was held in the evening. The meeting mainly discussed the implementation of six guarantees. Minister Sridhar Babu revealed that two of the six promises will be implemented on December 9. The Telangana government has made arrangements accordingly. The crucial Mahalakshmi scheme is ready to be taken up.
The Congress government will provide free travel facilities to women in RTC buses. RTC MD Sajjanar has already discussed various issues with CM Revanth Reddy. This scheme will be launched on 9th December.
The free travel will come into effect from December 9.

Women can travel from anywhere in the state. Can travel unlimited kilometers.
