Telangana state DGP, Anjani Kumar has been suspended. The Central Election Commission has issued instructions regarding this. The Election Commission has clarified that the DGP-level officer has violated the election rules. It has been announced that he is being suspended to this extent. These orders will come into effect immediately. The Telangana police were suddenly shocked by this.

As the  Telangana assembly election results  were coming out, DGP Anjani Kumar directly went to meet Congress PC Chief Revanth Reddy to his house. A bouquet was presented. In fact, the Election Code was still in force at that time. Officials were supposed to meet political leaders only after the Election Commission officially announces who has lost.

With this, there were signs that Congress would win. DGP went and congratulated Revanth Reddy. It went viral in all media. It is noteworthy that the Election Commission took this seriously and issued orders against the DGP.

Anjani Kumar’s act has landed him in trouble as the Election Commission found fault with the formal meeting and has suspended the top cop effective immediately.

Earlier, DGP Anjani Kumar, along with Sanjay Jain, State Police Nodal Officer, Telangana, and Mahesh Bhagwat had met state Congress chief, Revanth Reddy and handed over a flower bouquet.
