Telangana Ex-judge duped of Rs 2.5 cr over electoral bonds

A former High Court judge of AP and Allahabad- D.S.R. Varma was cheated of Rs 2.5 cr by two people claiming to be affiliated with RSS, who claimed the money would be given to the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party in the form of electoral bonds. In return, he was assured of jobs for his unemployed grandchildren in USA.

D.S.R. Varma filed a complaint against two persons of cheating him of Rs 2.5 crore and claimed that he was duped in the name of electoral bonds.

72-year-old retired judge, who served in the Andhra Pradesh and Allahabad high courts D.S.R. Varma, a resident of Dream Valley, OU colony in Shaikpet, filed a complaint against Narendran and his aide Sharath Reddy who he had met him in the year 2021. In his complaint, Varma revealed the fraud was carried out in the name of collecting money for electoral bonds for a national party.
