Telangana government is ready to take key steps in the case of collapse of pillars in Medigadda project. Kaleswaram ENC Venkateswarlu was removed from service by Secretary of Water and Drainage Department Rahul Bojja. These decisions have been taken in the wake of vigilance inquiry into the Medigadda Barrage Kunguba case.
A new person will be appointed for the key post of Engineer-in-Chief in the Telangana Irrigation Department. At present there are four ENCs in the Irrigation Department. Anil Kumar, who is senior among them, will be appointed as the administrative ENC.
