Telangana government has made another important announcement. CM Revanth Reddy has informed that the Indiramma Housing Scheme will be launched on the 11th of this month as part of the six election guarantees. CM Revanth Reddy ordered the officials to prepare the rules and regulations of this scheme. The government has decided to give Rs.5 lakh for house construction to those who have land and Rs.5 lakh to houseless poor along with land.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has decided to start the Indiramma House Scheme on the 11th of this month. The authorities were ordered to make necessary arrangements for that. He said, this scheme should be undertaken ambitiously as part of the implementation of six guarantees as promised by the government. Along with CM Revanth Reddy, Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar and CM’s advisor Vem Narendra Reddy held a review meeting on the guidelines related to the Indiramma Indla Scheme at the Secretariat on Saturday. Government Principal Secretary Shanthikumari, R&B Chief Secretary Srinivasa Raju and other officials participated in it.
CM suggested that the responsibilities of monitoring house construction should be handed over to engineering departments in various departments.
