The Kashmir Files starring Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumar, and Pallavi Joshi is written and directed by Vivek Agnihotri. The movie follows a Kashmiri Hindu college student, raised by his exiled grandfather and shielded from the knowledge of the circumstances of the death of his parents. The film The Kashmir Files Telugu version was recently telecasted on ZEE Telugu and now according to the latest report the film has registered a TRP of 1.35 which is giving shock to everyone.
The film is backed by Zee Studios. It is known that India Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several BJP ministers have praised the movie. Theatres across India have witnessed hate speech against Muslims, including incitement to violence. It is made on the budget of Rs 15 Cr and it has grossed Rs 340.92 crore worldwide. The Kashmir File is one of the highest-grossing Hindi film of 2022.
