Telangana PCC president Revanth Reddy has responded for the first time on the arrest of former AP CM and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu in the skill development case. The minister took KTR’s comments wrong.
Revanth Reddy said that there is no need for KTR to protest in Hyderabad, if he wants to protest in Rajahmundry, it is not appropriate to question what is the connection of Babu’s arrest with Hyderabad.
IT employees protesting in Hyderabad are wrong. He reminded that Hyderabad was the joint capital of Telugu states for ten years. He asked how it is not possible to protest here on issues related to AP. He said that the comments about not protesting are incorrect. Revanth Reddy supported the protests for Chandrababu.
BRS leaders suggested that they should not forget that the people protesting in Hyderabad are the voters here. All those protesting for Chandrababu are voters here. He said there is no point in controlling those who protest for justice. He said that no one can deny the right to protest and any party has that right.
Revanth Reddy reminded that there were protests in America during the Telangana movement. Revanth Reddy questioned that for every issue they protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi, what right do other parties and leaders have to protest in Delhi? KCR wants the votes of the Kammas of Andhra region, but Revanth questioned whether he would give permission if the Kammas protested in Hyderabad.
He added: If you think that Chandrababu’s arrest has nothing to do with Telangana, then why did you protest in front of the White House in America during the Telangana movement?.
