Intelligence DGP has given a report that there is a threat to the life of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. In that report, it was stated that CM Jagan Mohan Reddy was facing death threats from Maoists, terrorists and anti-social forces. The DGP said that Jagan needs to be given strict security. This report has gained importance in the context of going to Andhra Pradesh elections in a few weeks.
As Intelligence has reported threats to the life of AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy from Maoists, terrorists, and insurgent groups, it highlights the necessity of providing the utmost security to Jagan, especially in the context of the upcoming elections in Andhra Pradesh.
In this order, the AP government is arranging 2 helicopters, for CM Jagan’s visits. One helicopter will be made available in Vijayawada and another in Visakhapatnam. These helicopters, leased from the Messrs Global Vectra company, are dual-engine Bell helicopters.
It seems that Rs 1.91 cr per month will be paid as lease for each helicopter. Other expenses will also be borne by state government. Special Chief Secretary of Infrastructure Department Yuvraj has given orders to this extent.
