On average, if the ceremony was done in the traditional way then quintal wood would have cost 1000 Rs and Rs 1200 for the electric crematorium. But this electric or wood way would lead to heavy pollution. During 2007, Sheila Dikshit ruling, she brought diversified policies to curb pollution like introducing CNG buses in public transport and later setting up the CNG crematorium which is also affordable.
Very few people stand as an example, even after their death and Sheila Dikshit is the one leader who has made her name in it. We hats off to you madam.
