According to the latest buzz in the film industry, Tamil film actress Trisha Krishnan is all set to enter politics. It has become the talk of the Kollywood circles. Lady superstar Nayanthara and Trisha have been the leading actresses of Tamil cinema since the early 2000s. The reports are coming that Tamil actor Thalapathy Vijay is encouraging her to serve people by taking an active role in politics. And the actress made a decision to join the Congress.
A Veteran cinema journalist revealed that actress Trisha Krishnan will soon enter politics. Her focus is on the Congress. As Khushbu, the leading actress in Tamil, has jumped from the Congress to the BJP, Trisha Krishnan’ credit will be refreshing for the party.
On the work front, Trisha Krishnan is playing a key role in upcoming epic period action film ‘Ponniyin Selvan: I’ which is based on Tamil writer Kalki’s popular epic novel, helmed by Mani Ratnam. It is slated for release in theatres on 30th September. The movie also has Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Prakash Raj, Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Parthiban, Sarath Kumar, Jayaram and others. Trisha made her debut as female lead with Tamil movie ‘Mounam Pesiyadhe’ which was released in 2002.
