It can be seen that one of the main reasons for the two songs that got released from Ala Vaikunthapuramulo to become huge hits is the way they have been shot. Including Music director Thaman, Singers, chorus singers, and other musicians a video has been shot for both Samajavaragamana and Ramulo Ramula. Both the songs are huge blockbusters that are clocking combined close to 120 million views. Already Aditya Music has returned their investment of the film audio with these two songs alone. Rest is a bonus for Aditya Music which they can get income from other songs, video songs promos, and full video songs.
Keeping that aside, the reason behind shooting the song especially is said to be Trivikram Srinivas. He wants to build Thaman’s image and that’s why is keen to project Thaman more. Trivikram earlier used to work with Devi Sri Prasad. The combination delivered superb blockbuster albums like Jalsa, Julayi, S/o Satyamurthy, Attarintiki Daaredi, etc., After falling out with Devi Sri Prasad, Trivikram worked with Mickey J Meyer for A Aa, Anirudh for Agnatavaasi and Thaman for Aravinda Sametha and now Ala Vaikunthapuramulo.
He wants to prove a point that without DSP, Trivikram can also deliver huge blockbuster albums. With Aravinda Sameta his desire is only half-filled but Ala Vaikunthapuramulo is bringing the best in, Thaman. That’s why Trivikram Srinivas is thinking this is the best time to take revenge on DSP. So a huge sum is being spent on these music videos. Almost 1 Crore rupees budget has been allocated alone for these songs shoot. It indeed is a masterstroke from Trivikram as it has worked very well in favor of the movie. Because of these songs, now buzz on Ala Vaikunthapuramulo is sky-high. Incidentally, both Trivikram film and DSP movies are releasing on the same day i.e., January 12th.
