The Telugu remake of Malayalam film Kappela was launched officially today morning in Hyderabad with a pooja ceremony. The upcoming remake has Krishna and His Leela fame Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Arjun Das in the lead roles. In the month of July 2020, the production house, Sithara Entertainments acquired the rights to this romantic entertainer. And today Trivikram Srinivas launched the Kappela remake.
The makers of Kappela remake took to Twitter and shared a few photographs as Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Arjun Das starrer was officially launched with a formal pooja ceremony. The creative and talented film maker, Trivikram Srinivas graced the event and blessed the team.
This film will be Arjun Das’first straight movie in Telugu. Currently the team is in the hunt of a female lead. Apparently, two young Malayalam actresses are in consideration for the heroine’s role. Now we have to wait and see that who will get the opportunity to act in this remake.
According to the latest report, Siddhu Jonnalagadda will reprise the role of Srinath Basi from the original version, whereas Arjun Das will reprise the role of Roshan Mathew.
Kappela remake is helmed by Shourie Chandrasekhar T Ramesh and it has the music by Sweekar Agasthi is composing the music.
