Telangana Chief Minister KCR’ daughter and legislator K Kavitha celebrated Raksha Bandhan on Friday and on this occasion she tied rakhi to her brother and state minister KTR.
Kavitha visited Pragati Bhavan, the official residence of the chief minister to tie the rakhi to her brother. Shobha Rao and KTR’s wife Shailima and other family members were also present on this occasion.
The minister for industries, information technology, municipal administration and urban development KTR took to his twitter and shared the pics, he captioned it: Some bonds are so special. One of the (childhood) pic featured him and his sister Kavitha and another pic featured his son and daughter.
On the otherside, minister KTR virtually spoke to beneficiaries under different schemes from 33 districts yesterday and extended Raksha Bandhan wishes. KTR appealed to the women, “Please tie Rakhis to the portraits of Chief Minister KCR on Friday and express your love.”
KTR also announced Monthly pension of Rs 2016 would be offered to an additional 10 lakh new eligible persons from 1st August.
He added that reservations were being implemented in local bodies and nominated posts and he appealed to Central Govt to extend thirty three per cent reservation for the women the legislative bodies.
