The High Court gave a crucial verdict on the Group-1 exam conducted in Telangana. Many candidates approached the court for non-implementation of the biometric attendance system. They stated in their petitions that OMR sheets were given without the hall ticket number. The High Court which inquired into this, ordered the re-conduct of the examinations. The order states that the prelims exam held on June 11 will be cancelled.
Telangana last year gave notification for filling 503 group-1 jobs. Examinations were conducted for this. A total of 3.80 lakh candidates applied for these posts. Out of these 2,32,457 candidates appeared for the exam. It has also released the results related to this. But with the paper leakage issue coming to light. This exam has been cancelled. TSPSC announced new dates again. Again the exam was held on 11th June. The prelims exam key was released on June 28. It received objections on the key from July 1 to 5, then announced the final key. After giving the prelims results, TSPSC is working towards conducting the mains exams in November. While running like this, many candidates approached the court. The High Court has issued fresh orders canceling the examination.
It seems that the TSPSC has decided to proceed legally against the High Court orders canceling the examination. It is reported that the verdict will be appealed.
