Senior Congress leader Tulsi Reddy predicted that Chief Minister YS Jagan Reddy will lose in the next assembly elections. He made it clear that Jagan Mohan Reddy is certain to lose in his own constituency in the upcoming elections. The recently held council and ward elections are an example of that. Tulsi Reddy said that if YCP is defeated, the state will be prosperous and the country will be prosperous if BJP is defeated.
Speaking to the media in Vempalli, Kadapa district, Tulsi Reddy said that according to the 2019 election affidavit, Jagan was richer than all the chief ministers of the country before he became the chief minister. Jagan has stated in the affidavit that he has assets worth Rs 370 crores. He said that 9 members of Rajya Sabha from YCP are also millionaires and four of them are billionaires. However, it is ironic for Jagan to say that he is the party of the poor. He criticized that all the natural resources including sand are being exploited in the state. Tulsi Reddy questioned how the Chief Minister, who could not do justice to his younger sisters Sharmila and Sunita, was working for women’s empowerment.
