There is no security for TDP President Chandrababu Naidu in Rajahmundry Central Jail and the petition filed demanding that he be kept under house custody continues. Chandrababu Naidu, who was arrested in Nandyala on Saturday, was remanded for 14 days by the ACB special court on Sunday. He was shifted to Rajahmundry Central Jail. The Sneha block in the jail was completely allotted to Chandrababu. Extra security has been provided inside and outside the jail. Chandrababu was allowed to provide food from home.

On the other hand, Chandrababu’s lawyers want to impose house custody on the grounds that there is a threat to Chandrababu in jail. In this order, the cases given by the courts on house custody in the past are cited. Supreme Court lawyer Luthra mentioned the case of ‘Navalakha’ in the hearing of Chandrababu’s house custody petition in the hearing held on Monday.

Luthra argued that Chandrababu is in danger in Rajamahendravaram jail and should be placed under house custody. Human rights activist Gautham Nawalakha was cited for earlier house arrest by the Supreme Court.

TDP sources feel that Chandrababu Naidu will not get any relief from the remand of ACB special court. An emergency petition is expected to be filed in the High Court based on the court’s decision on the house custody petition on Tuesday morning. If there is a decision against Chandrababu in the ACB court, it is expected to file a lunch motion petition immediately.
