At the end of the Budget Session 2022 which was held at 11 am today, the Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced, there is no change in Income Tax Slabs, and there is 30% Tax on Virtual assets. She explained, Virtual digital asset is proposed to mean any information, code, number or token, generated through cryptographic means or providing a digital representation of value which is exchanged with or without consideration, with the promise or representation of having inherent value, or functions as a store of value or a unit of account and includes its use in any financial transaction or investment.

The Union law minister Kiren Rijiju said that there is a very good budget. It is a very inclusive budget that helps interests of every section of society including the poor, rural and border areas, and the Northeast areas.

Rs 6400 crores for FY23 Vs Rs 5000 crores for FY22
National Health Mission
Rs 37800 crores in FY23 Vs Rs 34947 crores in FY22
PM Gram Sadak Yojana
Rs 19000 crore for FY23 Vs Rs 14000 crore for FY22
PM Swasthya Suraksha Yojana
Rs 10000 crores for FY23 Vs Rs 7400 crores for FY22
Key revelations for MSME sector :
*Udyam, e-shram, NCS and ASEEM portals to be interlinked
*130 lakh MSMEs provided addittional credit under Emergency Credit Linked Guarantee Scheme.
*ECLGS to be extended upto March 2023.
*Guarantee cover under ECLGs to be expanded by Rs 50000 crore to total cover of Rs 5 lakh crore.
*Rs 2 lakh crore additional credit for Micro and Small Enterprises to be facilitated under the credit Guarantee Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises.
*Raising and accelerating MSME performance programme with outlay of Rs 6000 crore to be initiated.
