The Telugu remake of Malayalam blockbuster Lucifer, which has Megastar Chiranjeevi in the lead, was launched at a function in Hyderabad in the month of January.  But now the reports are coming that  Chiranjeevi is planning to drop the plans of the remake. After directors like VV Vinayak and Sujeeth walked out of this remake. It was Mohan raja, who is known for helming films such as Jayam, M Kumaran S/O Mahalakshmi, Santosh Subramaniam and Thani Oruvan, had taken up the charge for helming this project.

However, this remake may not be happening as Chiranjeevi is not impressed with the changes made by the directors. So unsatisfied  Chiranjeevi has taken a crucial decision.   The movie Lucifer has a Malayalam flavor in it. After trying with three different directors and not satisfied with the changes in the script, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy star is said to have dropped the plans of the remake.

The reports are also coming that after wrapping up the shoot of Acharya under the direction of Koratala Siva, Chiranjeevi will take a long break.

Besides Acharya,  Chiranjeevi will also be seen playing the lead role in  Vedhalam remake under the direction of Meher Ramesh and  he is also committed to work with Bobby for a project.
