Vaishnav Tej, the younger brother of Mega hero Sai Dharam Tej is making his debut in Telugu film Industry with an upcoming romantic drama Uppena, which is directed by Buchi Babu Sana. The movie Uppena was supposed to hit the theaters in the month of March but the makers postponed its release due to coronavirus outbreak. Appreciatively, the film Uppena is still hot in the trade circle, thanks to the music from Sensational music composer Devi Sri Prasad. Nee Kallu Neeli Samudram, the Qawwali song from Uppena has become a chartbuster.
The song Nee Kallu Neeli Samudram from Vaishnav Tej starrer Uppena has now garnered 50 million views. Singer Javed Ali’s rendition struck a chord with the listeners. The lyrics of this song is penned by Sreemani.
The other song “Dhak Dhak Dhak” from Uppena has also become popular with over 12 million views. Devi Sri Prasad is said to have provided a pleasant album for the film Uppena.
Uppena which has Kriti Shetty in the female lead, is bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers in association with Sukumar Writings. The movie also marks debut of Buchi Babu Sana as director. Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi is playing crucial role in this film and will be seen essaying the role of Kriti’ father.
