Thunivu, and Varisu New Zealand box office Collections: Kollywood popular star Ajith Kumar came up with action drama Thunivu which was released on the eve of Pongal and received the mixed response by the movie lovers and critics on its release day. Thalapathy Vijay and Pushpa girl Rashmika Mandanna starrer Varisu was also arrived at the theaters on the occasion of Sankranthi and clashed with Thunivu.
According to the latest report, Thunivu has grossed NZ$31,925 till Jan 22nd and Varisu’ total gross is a huge NZ$73,095 at the box office of New Zealand.

Srikanth, Khushboo, Shaam, Yogi Babu, Prakash Raj, and R Sarath Kumar are playing the important roles in Varisu. Maharshi fame Vamshi Paidipally directed the film depicting Vijay as a young man in the character of a business tycoon. , who meets his love while managing his father’s empire.
Thunivu is helmed by H Vinod and bankrolled by Boney Kapoor. The movie also has Samuthirakani, John Kokken, Mamathi Chari, Ajay, Darshan, Pavani Reddy, Veera, Bagavathi Perumal, Ciby and Amir in supporting roles.
