The young and happening actor Vijay Devarakonda proudly became an owner of a multiplex named- Asian Vijay Devarakonda Cinemas (AVD). Sekhar Kammula’ directorial venture starring Akkineni Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi will be the first movie that will be screened in AVD Cinemas.
Arjun Reddy star took to his Twitter and said that from dreaming of becoming an actor to now owning my own Multiplex Cinema, I share with you all – Asian Vijay Deverakonda cinema. The 1st AVD – Asian Vijay Deverakonda will officially open in Mahbubnagar, from 24th September 2021.”
Vijay Deverakonda is a popular name in Tollywood and he is known for acting in Yevade Subramanyam, Pelli Choopuli, Geetha Govindam, Taxiwaala, NOTA, Dear Comrade and World Famous Lover. But it was Sandeep Reddy Vanga’ directorial venture Arjun Reddy that went on to become a blockbuster hit and made Vijay Deverakonda a household name. His performance won him several accolades, including the Filmfare Award for Best Actor in Telugu.
On the otherside, Vijay Deverakonda will next be seen in Liger, which is jointly produced by Puri Jagannadh, Karan Johar, Charmme Kaur, Apoorva Mehta, Hiroo Yash Johar under the banners of Dharma Productions and Puri Connects. It will mark Vijay’s first Bollywood venture and it has Ananya Panday as the leading lady.
