Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, as president of the YSR Congress, is fielding his close political aide and Rajya Sabha MP V Vijayasai Reddy from Nellore parliament constituency.
YSRC appointed its Rajya Sabha member V Vijayasai Reddy as the coordinator for the Nellore Parliamentary seat On Friday. In its ninth list, YSRCP announced that A Md Imtiyaz was appointed as in-charge of Kurnool Assembly constituency. M Lavanya was made in-charge of Mangalagiri Assembly constituency.
Adala Prabhakar Reddy won the Nellore MP seat in the year 2019. However, YCP party appointed him as the in-charge for the Nellore Rural seat.
The ninth list released on Friday night had names of 3 candidates, 1 from Lok Sabha and 2 from assembly constituencies.
CM Jagan Mohan Reddy had full faith in Vijayasai Reddy and he gave the latter many responsibilities right from the inception of YSRC. Presently, Vijayasai Reddy is party’ national general secretary, besides discharging various posts in YCP party including that of regional coordinator.
