The Kerala Story movie which recently hit the theaters is becoming a sensation across the country. It is known that controversy is going on all over the country on the movie The Kerala Story. It is known that some states have banned this film. On the other hand, the opposition is furious at the Center saying that this movie is creating a wedge between religions in the country. In this context, Telangana BJP leader Vijayashanti said, should you watch any movie? don’t you That is for the audience to decide.
She said that it is sad that the state governments are taking the decision of screening this movie into their own hands. She said that no one has the right to keep a movie away from people. She added that in a democratic country people know what to accept and what to reject. You can only stop the movie, not the truth? she asked.
She added, “Who has the right to keep the movie away from the people when even the courts have set aside the petitions against the movie The Kerala Story which has been censored. Vijayashanti asked, “We are a democratic country. Do you think people don’t know what to accept and what to reject by watching a movie in the days when people are choosing the government with their wisdom?”.
