 Driver’s inexperience caused Volvo bus to crash at Vijayawada bus stand, killing three. The report of the RTC inquiry committee revealed that the accident took place due to the careless driving of the bus by the driver. The driver, who will be retiring in three months, was given an automatic transmission Volvo bus with no experience, leading to a fatal accident.

In the incident of Guntur-Vijayawada Metro luxury bus ramming at Vijayawada bus stand, it was found that the driver’s carelessness and negligence was the cause of the accident. It was found that there were no technical faults in the bus, but the driver accelerated to reverse while in drive mode, and it lurched forward. When the bus was supposed to go back, it lurched forward in drive mode.
