After a gap of nearly 36 hours ISRO Chief K Sivan gave an official statement that Vikram Lander of Chandrayaan 2 is present on the moon’s surface.

He said that They’ve got the image of Vikram on the lunar surface from our orbiter and they are now busy in trying analyzing the data.

The Failure analysis committee (FAC) is very busy now in checking what’s the main reason for the deviation. It is heard that the optimal horizontal velocity might have been the reason for the deviation of Vikram Lander of Chandrayaan 2.
