Ahead of Team India’s crucial T20 World Cup 2022 semi final clash against England, there was an injury scare as the Indian star batter Virat Kohli got injured while practicing in the nets. Earlier Rohit Sharma also suffered an injury in his forearm. He was taking throwdowns in the nets and one of these throwdowns hit him on the forearm and he looked in a lot of pain. But he has been declared fit to be available for the semifinal game against England.
Star Batter Virat Kohli who was batting in the nets suffered the injury on Harshal Patel’ delivery in the groin area. A video is going viral in which Virat Kohli is seen in discomfort as he tries to get up and walk to continue the net session.
The sources revealed that the Indian cricketer was hit hard but then looked fine after a few minutes. It seems he has recovered from the injury scare and that there is nothing much to worry ahead of the big semifinal clash. Virat Kohli is fine and the injury is nothing serious. India would take on England in the second semifinal of the T20 World Cup 2022, on Thursday, November 10.
Team India, which last played a T20 World Cup match against England in 2012 tournament, will play the team again after ten years.
