Before the start of the WTC final, Kohli made interesting comments on Smith. It is noteworthy that Virat Kohli said that no one else has played Test cricket like Smith in the last ten years.
“According to me ,Steve Smith is the best Test player in this generation. He has proved it. He is amazing at adapting himself to the conditions. Take any cricketer in this generation. Everyone knows his record. Even after 85-90 Tests to average 60 runs is unbelievable. If you look at his consistency, the way he runs, I have not seen any other Test player play like this in the last ten years. That’s a testament to his skill,” Virat said
