Vishweshwar Reddy resigns from TRS

Vishweshwar Reddy resigns from TRSVishweshwar Reddy, TRS MP from Chevella Konda,  resigned from Telanagana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) on Tuesday. He said that he was disappointed with the party at various levels.

Vishweshwar Reddy said in a letter addressed to TRS president, caretaker and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR), “I was forced into the position of contemplating leaving the party despite the fact that today Telanagana Rashtra samithi (TRS) enjoys significant goodwill in the social circles that we are in.” He added, “I thought long and hard about this step before deciding to take this major decision and analysed the scenario by listing my disappointments at the various levels. I started to feel (especially in the last 2 years), that we as a party were becoming more and more distant, from the very people, whom we had once represented extremely well. We as a government were becoming inaccessible to the people.”
