Former MP and senior leader Vivek Venkataswamy has resigned from BJP- Bharatiya Janata Party. Vivek Venkataswamy resigned from the BJP membership along with the party manifesto committee. A resignation letter has been sent to Bharatiya Janata Party Telangana President Kishan Reddy. He will visit the Congress in the presence of MP Rahul Gandhi. Soon, Vivek Venkataswamy will go to Nova Tel Hotel and meet Rahul Gandhi.
In 2009, Vivek Pedpadelli won as MP from the Congress party. After that he joined BRS from Congress. After coming to Telangana, he rejoined the Congress party before the 2014 elections. After that, Vivek Venkataswamy, who joined BRS again, continued in BJP till date. There has been a rumor going on for a few days that Vivek Venkataswamy will change his party. However, he is denying that there is no such thing. Recently, he sent his resignation letter to Kishan Reddy.
The sources said Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president Revanth Reddy requested him to join the Congress and Vivek is likely to tilt towards the Congress.
