It is known that Viveka Reddy’ daughter Sunitha Reddy has challenged the Telangana High Court’s grant of anticipatory bail to YCC MP Avinash Reddy in the YS Vivekananda Reddy murder case in the Supreme Court. A hearing was held today in the Supreme Court- SC on the petition filed by Viveka’ daughter Sunitha Reddy. The bench of Justice Suryakant and Justice Sundarish disposed of the petition filed by Sunitha Reddy. Along with Avinash Reddy, the CBI has issued notices to answer Sunitha’s petition. The petition was adjourned to July 3 for further hearing.
It is known that Avinash Reddy has already been interrogated several times by the CBI officials in connection with Viveka’s murder case. But when the CBI officials issued a notice to Avinash Reddy to appear for investigation last month, many dramatic developments took place. On the other hand, the vacation bench of the High Court heard the anticipatory bail petition of Avinash Reddy and granted anticipatory bail to him on 31st of last month.
However, Sunitha approached the Supreme Court challenging the Telangana High Court’s grant of anticipatory bail to Avinash Reddy. In her petition, Sunitha sought cancellation of Avinash Reddy’s anticipatory bail. Avinash Reddy is accused of having a key involvement in the case.
