Mohan Lal starrer Drishyam is one of the well-made thrillers in recent times. This Malayalam film was later remade into many other languages. In Telugu, Venkatesh remade with the same name and ended up with the same result.
On the 60th birthday of Mohan Lal, the director of the film Jeetu Joseph has made an official announcement that the film will have a sequel and he has also revealed that sequel will start exactly at the point where the first part ended.
Mohan Lal covered up the murder their family got involved in. He buried the body underground where the new Police Station is being built-in. Drishyam sequel will start exactly from this point and there is a loose end at Mohan Lal’s side which he overlooks. This is the main thread for the Drishyam sequel.
As per the latest reports, pre-production works of this sequel are coming to an end and shooting might start from August second well. However, an official confirmation regarding the same is awaited.
