Whistle Collections: Kollywood star Vijay and Lady Superstar Nayantara starrer sports-based drama Bigil has turned out money-spinner at the box office. Whistle is the Telugu dubbed version of Tamil movie Bigil. The movie Bigil has already crossed Rs 100 Cr marks at the box office, which is an incredible feat for a movie. It is directed by Atlee Kumar and is bankrolled by Kalpathi S Aghoram under the banner of AGS Entertainments. The much-anticipated sports drama was released on 25th October in a very grand manner and received a positive response by the movie lovers on its opening day. According to the traders report, Whistle has collected Rs 7.75 Cr shares at the box office of both Telugu States – Andhra Pradesh and Telangana after the successful run of 4 days

Despite the release of Karthi starrer prisoner film, Whistle has continued its dominance at the box office and is expected to turn out as one of the biggest blockbusters of 2019. Not only in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, but the film is also performing quite well in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Produced at a staggering budget of Rs 180 Cr, the movie Whistle also stars Kathir, Yogi Babu, and Vivek in crucial roles. The film has music by AR Rahman. The movie was released in nearly 4,200 screens across the world.
Whistle marks the third collaboration of director Atlee and Vijay after Theri and Mersal. Thalapathy Vijay starrer could turn out to be the actor Vijay’s biggest release to date.
