Yashoda Box office collections : Samantha Ruth Prabhu starrer science fiction and women centric film Yashoda, hit the theatres on November 11. The pan-Indian multilingual film starred South diva Samantha as and in the titular role. The Hindi version of the film witnessed no major clash box office on its release day except Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan starrer Uunchai. Movie is receiving positive response from audiences and the critics. Now according to the latest report, Yashoda has collected £33,348 at the UK Box office from or the Nov 11th to 13th weekend.

The movie is directed by Hari Shankar-Harish Narayan and is bankrolled by Sridevi Movies. Apart from Samantha, Yashoda which is base on Surrogacy also has Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Unni Mukundan, Kalpika Ganesh, Sampath Raj, Shatru, Madhurima, Divya Sripada, Priyanka Sharma in pivotal roles.
In this drama Yashoda, Samantha plays a surrogate mother, who risks her life to save young pregnant women from a surrogacy scam. This is the second most successful Telugu film in recent time after Karthikeya 2.
