Yatra 2 is an upcoming Telugu film based on the comforting yatra and padayatra done by the present Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. The developments after the death of the late YS Rajasekhara Reddy, father of YS Jagan and former Chief Minister of AP, will be crucial in this film. Yatra 2 is coming as a sequel to the 2019 film Yatra based on YSR’s Padayatra. Tamil actor Jiiva is playing the role of YS Jagan in this movie. Malayalam star Mammootty is essaying the role of YSR. Yatra 2 is going to release on February 8. Today the makers of Yatar 2 unveiled the trailer.
Yatra 2 trailer starts with an emotional scene where a mother tells YSR (Mammootty) about her deaf daughter. Then there is the aftermath of YSR’s death. There are scenes like YS Jagan (Jiiva) shedding tears and taking a consolation trip. The makers have shown in this trailer that the Congress party has tried to block Jagan’s yatra. The trailer shows the pivotal moments, such as Jagan Mohan Reddy’s decision to leave the Congress party and embark on a journey to establish a new political party.
The character of TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu (Mahesh Manjrekar) is also present in the trailer of Yatra 2.
Yatra 2 helmed by Mahi V Raghav, also has Sachin Khedkar, Subhalekha Sudhakar, and others in crucial roles.
