The counter attack started against YS Sharmila, the sister of AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, who took charge of the AP Congress party recently. YCP supporters are also posting on social media about YS Sharmila’s personal matters. Sharmila is not able to give answers to the questions of YCP leaders and they are attacking her on social media.
Critics swiftly unearthed past videos where YS Sharmila accused the Congress of backstabbing her family by naming her late father YSR in an FIR despite his instrumental role in the party’s victory. The irony of her earlier statements, suggesting YSR would have advocated spitting on the Congress party, now reverberates as she joins the same party.
The videos circulating online expose Sharmila’s prior comments, categorizing Andhra Pradesh as a mere neighbour state for her. Her earlier insinuations of conspiracy behind her father YSR’s death, indirectly pointing fingers at Congress, resurfaced on social media.
Recently Sharmila revealed that she is hurt by the personal attack that is being done against her by the YCP leaders.
YS Sharmila is the daughter of the late YS Rajasekhara Reddy, the former chief minister of undivided AP.
