The same culture is seen in all industries besides Bollywood. YCP Rajya Sabha MP Vijayasai Reddy made interesting comments on this succession trend. Regarding the Cinematography Amendment Bill, Vijayasai Reddy said in the Rajya Sabha that there is no dearth of talent in the film industry, but due to legacy heroes, talented artists are getting proper opportunities. Vijayasai Reddy said that the culture of sons of top actors and actors should be removed. He suggested that changes should be made in the film industry to harness the talent.
Vijayasai Reddy also made interesting comments on the remuneration of heroes. Vijaya Sai Reddy said that 75 percent of the budget of big movies is the remuneration of heroes, and star heroes are taking remunerations in hundreds of crores. The lakhs of workers who believed in the film industry are getting poor wages.
Vijayasai Reddy said that only heroes are benefiting from the film industry. He added that it would be good if changes were made in the Cinematography Amendment Act to benefit everyone.
