Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee’s new chief YS Sharmila Reddy branded the ruling YSRCP and the opposition TDP as puppets of BJP and said that every vote to these parties would only help BJP to rule the State in proxy. She expressed her grief that YSRCP leader Jagan has changed after becoming AP Chief Minister. She said that when Jagan went to jail, she selflessly walked 3200 kilometers. Sharmila was emotional that YSRCP forgot her sacrifice.
YS Sharmila Reddy has now targeted the liquor mafia that has been alleged against Jagan Mohan Reddy multiple times in the past by the opposition parties.
YS Sharmila said, “The liquor mafia in AP is the biggest mafia in India and the deaths due to contaminated liquor have increased by 25 percent since YSRCP came to power. While we asked Jagan Mohan Reddy to fight for special category status for AP, he brought special status beer. The number of fake liquor brands in Andhra Pradesh is high.”
Sharmila used the special status to target the YSRCP on the liquor brands. She said that people are abusing the government for providing cheap liquor and taking more money than the actual price. She added that liquor consumption increased in the state.
