YSR Telangana Party chief YS Sharmila made strong comments on the Farmers’ Day organized by KCR government as part of Telangana State Decade celebrations. She said that it is enough to say that the BRS government has organized Rythu Daga Day rather than that it has organized Rythu Daga Day. She said that since the elections are coming for the KCR dynasty, which has blamed the farmers for these ten years, the farmers’ day was organized only for votes but the farmers gave a befitting reply.
Sharmila asked Telangana Chief Minister KCR what he actually achieved by organizing Rythu Dinotsavam. She said that in the last election, she believed that farmers’ loans of less than one lakh rupees would be waived. Even if the elections are coming again, this promise has not been implemented so far. Sharmila said that farmers’ day was celebrated for cheating 31 lakh farmers.
She added that they lied by promising to give 26 lakh tonnes of fertilizers for free every year. She also said that 9,000 farmers lost their lives in these nine years due to the government’s neglect. He gave Rythu Bandhu Rs 5,000 per acre. He blocked Rs. 30,000 farmer schemes like input subsidy, subsidized fertilizers, seeds and Yantra Lakshmi.
