Erra Gangireddy, who is the A1 in the murder case of former minister YS Vivekananda Reddy, has arrived at the CBI court in Nampally, Hyderabad. It is known that the Telangana High Court has ordered Gangireddy, who is on bail, to surrender by the 5th of this month. He came to the CBI court to surrender following the orders of the High Court. Soon he will surrender.
Gangireddy was arrested on March 28, 2019 in the Viveka murder case. But even after 90 days, the charge sheet was not filed against him and he got default bail on 27th of the same year. The High Court heard the petition filed by the CBI to cancel his bail and ordered him to surrender in the CBI court by May 5, allowing the CBI to arrest him if he failed to do so.
The court also directed CBI to release Gangireddy after the completion of the investigation by June 30.
Gangireddy will surrender today in the wake of High Court’s earlier orders to surrender before May 5.
