Yesterday Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy celebrated his 50th birthday. The CM celebrated it by cutting a cake at his camp office in presence of his cabinet colleagues, public representatives, officials and the well-wishers. Andhra Pradesh has created a world record in blood donation on the occasion of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’ 50th birthday. YSRCP party members and followers took a pledge to donate blood and set a record.
Not only in two Telugu states but also abroad, YSRCP followers donated blood. 1,29,451 people registered online through a website and offline and surpassed world record in the Guinness Book of Records.
Around 1.30 lakh people donated blood by yesterday evening. The Minister said that the the Blood donation camps were organized on the same day all over the State and it is a world record. The previous record was established in South Africa where 75,000 donated blood. He said the party workers also planted saplings all over the State on the occasion.
On the other side, at the YSR Congress Party central office, party general secretary Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, along with the party leaders, cut a 500 kg cake to celebrate the birthday of Jagan Reddy.
