83 Trailer Out: Ranveer Singh took to his Instagram today morning to share the much-awaited official trailer of Kabir Khan directorial venture 83, in which he is essaying the role of Kapil Dev. Deepika Padukone is playing Romi, wife of the former captain of the Indian cricket team.
The trailer starts with Indian team faltering on the field. Ranveer Singh declares at the press conference that they are here to win the match. Later Ranveer as Kapil dev hits one six after another, smashes dressing room windows, glasses and windscreens of cars.
83 also has Jatin Sarna, Chirag Patil, Dinker Sharma, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Jiiva, Saqib Saleem, Nishant Dahiya, Harrdy Sandhu, Sahil Khattar, Ammy Virk, Addinath Kothare, Dhairya Karwa, R Badree and Pankaj Tripathi, in the crucial roles.

Darpan: We can’t imagine the joy of that time winning the world cup in 1983 but this movie will give us a real feeling for that moment can’t wait for this Goosebumps
Sanchit: I really hope, that this time a director does justice to one of the most important events in Indian sports history by sticking to the original material and not relying on synthetic Bollywood drama. The cast’s transformation in their respective roles does appear to be honest and convincingly well thought out as yet. Happy to see that the trailer actually released.
