A government teacher in Sri Satyasai district has committed violence against a female student many times. He threatened to kill her if she told anyone about it. Finally the matter came to light when she gave birth to the child.
This heartbreaking incident took place in Kadiri Constituency of Sri Sathya Sai District. A girl (16) belonging to the constituency was studying in class 10 in a government high school last year when she went to the staff room to drink fresh water when the teacher there stared at her. Teacher Reddinagaiah threatened the girl and raped her.
He threatened to kill her if she told anyone about this, and the student was terrified. The teacher repeatedly assaulted the girl. In this process, the girl became pregnant. On Saturday, the family members took the girl to the local government hospital after she developed abdominal pain, where she gave birth to a boy.
As the victim’s blood was low, the doctors suggested that she should be taken to Kadiri Regional Hospital. On the advice of the doctors, while she was being taken to the Anantapur Government Hospital for treatment, SI Rajasekhar came to know about the matter through the outpost police.
