
BRS MLC Kalwakuntla Kavitha, who is accused in the Delhi liquor case, was yesterday released by the Enforcement Directorate- ED for 8 hours. Later, it was ordered to attend the hearing again on 16th of this month. Kavitha, who attended the hearing at 11 am yesterday, was interrogated by the authorities till 8 pm. On this occasion, it seems that many questions were raised regarding the liquor scandal.
After midnight, she reached the Begumpet airport in Hyderabad in a special flight. She was accompanied by Ministers KTR, Harish Rao and Srinivas Goud. Kavitha reached Begumpet at 12.10 midnight and directly reached Pragati Bhavan, the Telangana Chief Minister’s residence.
The sources revealed that KCR was briefed about the questioning that K Kavitha had undergone by the ED in Delhi.
On Saturday, the Enforcement Directorate ED had questioned MLC K Kavitha for nine hours over the Delhi liquor policy Scam.
K Kavitha has been summoned again for further questioning by the ED on March 16.
According to the ED, Telangana Chief Minister KCR daughter, Kavitha is a part of the ‘South Group’, which has paid bribes to exploit loopholes in the Delhi excise policy, so as to secure free access to various wholesale businesses and the retail zones.
