Election heat is on in AP.  The opposition TDP has already revealed some of the promises it will implement if its party comes to power in Mahanadu and what about the ruling YCP?

All the political parties have started working on election manifestos which play a key role in influencing the voters and swaying the masses in their favour. The manifesto released by Jagan Mohan Reddy five years ago in the name of Navaratna was a success in AP.

Four to five months before the elections in 2019, Jagan announced that the pensions would be increased to Rs 2,000. A few days after this decision was announced, the ruling TDP implemented it. The amount given to pensioners across the state has been increased to Rs 2,000 at once. With this, it was announced that the pension of the then opposition YCP would be tripled. After that it was announced that the amount of pension will be increased to three thousand in a phased manner. Currently it has reached Rs 2750. In a few months it will reach Rs 3000.

The party claims to have implemented nearly 95 %  of the promises made by the 2019 elections. YCP has already announced that out of 129 promises, 111 have been fulfilled.

Everyone is interested in what kind of manifesto the YSRCP will announce to win the next election in AP under any circumstances. On the other hand, the main opposition TDP is making efforts to attract women voters. The Chief Minister himself has been saying in public meetings that if YCP does not come to power, all the existing schemes will be cancelled.

With this, TDP also announced cash transfer schemes in the recently held Mahanadu. Many schemes have been announced targeting women voters. TDP president Chandrababu Naidu says that they will implement better cash transfer schemes than the ones currently implemented by YCP.
