Minister Gangula Kamalakar said that Karimnagar is a place where development, happiness, spirituality come together. Many development programs in the city were started on Friday. Addressing the people at many places on this occasion, the minister said that the debt of the people who had blessed them in the 2009, 2014 and 2018 elections and secured a hat-trick of victories was irreparable. He recalled that when he visited Karimnagar after winning as an MLA for the first time in 2009, he saw potholed roads and foul-smelling drains. He said that he remembers the days when there were no basic facilities during the union regime. He said that the then union rulers did not have the mind to provide minimum facilities to the poor in the town. He said that CMs, PMs have changed, but the lives of the poor have not changed.
Minister Gangula said that if the then CM Kiran Kumar Reddy was asked for the development of Karimnagar, he would only laugh and not give even a single rupee. He said that CM KCR is releasing thousands of crores of rupees for the development of Karimnagar under self-rule. He said that the Andhra rulers did not get the idea to develop this region unless the Telangana’s earnings were stolen. He said that even during the rainy season, the lower Maneru reservoir looks like a desert, During the self-rule,CM KCR is bringing Kaleshwaram water and flooding the ponds in Mandutenda.
Minister Gangula made comments that the rulers of Delhi are again stepping in Hyderabad to rob the green Telangana. They expressed concern that former Seyam Kiran Kumar Reddy under the guise of BJP and KVP Sharmila under the guise of Congress are coming to Telangana to merge Telangana back into Andhra. They are all conspiring to defeat our KCR and loot Telangana again.
