If ongoing buzz in media and film industry is to be believed, Mega Prince Varun Tej is going to collaborate with Mega Producer Allu Aravind for an upcoming project, which will be bankrolled helmed by Writer turned director Vakkantham Vamsi.

Vakkantham Vamsi made his directorial debut with Naa Peru Surya, Naa Illu India starring Stylish Star Allu Arjun and Anu Emmanuel. The movie also had Arjun Sarja, Boman Irani, R Sarathkumar, Thakur Anoop Singh, Nadhiya, Vennela Kishore, Pradeep Rawat and Rao Ramesh in the supporting roles. But unfortunately, the movie ended up commercially flop at the box office. Now Allu Aravind has bought this flop director Vakkantham Vamsi on the board to direct a movie in which Varun Tej will play the lead role. The upcoming film of Varun Tej and Vakkantham Vamsi will be bankrolled under the banner of Geetha Arts.

After the debacle of Naa Peru Surya, Vakkantham Vamsi has been working with Geetha Arts for some time. Recently Vakkantham Vamsi met Varun Tej and narrated a story. Varun Tej who was very impressed with the narration responded positively. Very soon the project will go in the second half of 2020. The sources say that currently, Vakkantham Vamsi is busy penning the complete script.

Vakkantham Vamsi has penned the scripts for popular star heroes of Telugu cinema such as Stylish Star Allu Arjun, Mahesh Babu, Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja, Jr NTR and Ram Charan.

On the other side, Varun Tej is working on his looks for his next upcoming flick where he will play the role of a boxer. Kiran Korrapati is making his directorial debut with Varun Tej starrer and it will be jointly bankrolled by Allu Venkatesh and Siddhu Mudda. According to the latest buzz, the makers wanted to rope Kiara Advani to play the female lead but she has rejected the offer.
