A gruesome murder took place in Dachepalli in Gurazala division of Palnadu district, Andhra Pradesh. A man was hacked to pieces and shot dead. The police have registered a case and are investigating. It seems that extramarital affair was the reason for the murder.

The incident occurred on the intervening night of Friday and Saturday. The police suspect that extra marital relationship could be the reason for the murder.

B. Mehar Jayaram Prasad, DSP Gurazala, said on Saturday the victim Garikapati Koteswara Rao, 38, was in a relationship with the wife of the accused B Saidulu, 51.

Saidulu and Garikapati Koteswara Rao (38) of Dhagepalli work as plumbers. Koteswara Rao went to the water tank in the bypass area to stop the electric motor at 8 pm on Friday as part of his duties. Saidulu, who had already settled there, and his son attacked Koteswara Rao. He died on the spot due to a severe blow to the head. After that, he put the dead body in a sack and take it to a deserted area on a bike. The dead body was cut into pieces and was burnt with petrol.

 The father and son slowly moved from there and reached home. The wife and son burnt the blood-stained clothes. The family of the deceased saw the burning dead body and lodged a complaint with the police.
