This atrocity which came to light in Lakshmipuram of Chodavaram mandal led to local upheaval. According to the report, the victim Venkateswara Rao married a woman named Vijaya for the second time some years ago. His first wife passed away.
However, differences arose between Vijaya and Venkateswara Rao regarding the transfer of property. In this order, Vijaya went to her hometown in the wake of a property transfer dispute.
Recently Vijaya called her husband to her house to talk about a plan. When he came, she poured boiled cooking oil on him. The locals rushed Venkateswara Rao to the hospital. His health condition of Venkateswara Rao is said to be stable now. The police have registered a case and started the investigation.
